Birmingham, AL (July 22, 2009) – Stephen O’Neill joins Sterne Agee Financial Services as Director of Business Development.  

Mr. O’Neill brings 25 years of successful marketing and recruiting expertise to Sterne Agree Financial Services. Previously, he served as Senior Sales Manager for TD Ameritrade Institutional, responsible for sales strategy and recruiting efforts of “break away brokers”. Prior to TD Ameritrade, Mr. O’Neill served as Senior Vice President of Cambridge Investment Research, responsible for overall recruiting efforts of the firm.  

He is originally from New Orleans, LA and is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in business. Mr. O’Neill is FINRA registered and a member of several professional organizations including FPA, American Marketing Association. He resides in Birmingham with his wife, Amina, and son, Ryan.
