Sterne Agee’s Fixed Income Credit Research Group provides fundamental research on a broad universe of industries to both the firm’s sales/trading desks and our account base.  The typical credit analysis performed by each analyst includes a macroeconomic overview of the sector, evaluation of company-specific cash flow prospects, debt covenant considerations and relative value analysis.  Our clients include a diversified mix of institutional investors (mutual funds, insurance companies and money managers), as well as alternative investment managers.

The research group is comprised of highly-experienced credit analysts who have garnered multiple designations on the coveted Institutional Investor All-America Fixed-Income Research Team.  In fact, our analysts have been named to this team 26 times in the automotive, building, consumer/food, gaming and paper & packaging sectors.  All of the firm’s analysts strive to be easily-accessible to our client base.
