Checkwriting A Sterne Agee Capital Resource Account also allows you to access your cash balances as well as your margin loan through our convenient checkwriting product. There is no minimum balance, and you may write an unlimited number of checks. Additionally, the account includes deposit tickets, free check reorders, and no minimum deposit requirement. Payments you receive, such as payroll and Social Security checks, may be deposited to your account to maximize your interest income. Custody and Clearing  We are also the custodian of client assets including cash and securities.  As custodian, we are responsible for the receipt and issuance of client checks and wires, accepting certificates sent by clients, and ensuring adherence to all rules and regulations governing client asset protection. In addition, we process dividend and interest payments, transfer of securities, and settles all cash and security transactions.
